Claude Monet spent his time here cultivating and painting his beautiful garden. The garden is so tranquil and has arbors, paths and seats throughout. Un Renzulli a Roma. Sharing our family adventures. Notre Voyage en France. July 7, 2015. On Monday we spent a long and well worth it day touring D-Day sites around Normandy. We started at the German Cemetery in La Cambe. There are about 21,000 Germans buried in this location, the largest of six German cemeteries. The site is very peaceful with small plaques where two to three men are buried. We also looked through the books at names we might recognize. The church still has a parachute as a reminder.

We visited the beautiful Augsburg Cathedral and as is typical in Europe, the architecture is gothic and impressive.
