UMC-015 Nugget - Untitled Motorcycles

Engine overhauled new big end shells new timing chains and tensioners new piston rings bores honed valves checked and ground new clutch friction plates carbs overhauled and new diaphragms fitted. Subframe customised and made into a 3/4 seat. The frame had all brackets that were not needed removed. Also an under frame battery box was fitted. Bead blasted and powder coated satin black. Forks standard BMW internals with standard gaiters. WHEELS FRONT and REAR:. BMW snow flakes powder coated satin black.

CB350 was commissioned as a prop for a film. The brief was to avoid making the bike too obviously customized or ‘show-bike-ish’ which meant keeping the original tank, along with its paint, scratches and dings. The modifications are subtle. The frame has been tweaked and the rear subframe was cut to match the shape of a slim custom seat. The rear fender is a hand-made Untitled item, the stock oversized air box has been swapped out for K&Ns, and a stubby new exhaust system has been grafted on.

I really enjoy tinkering with my bike, but if I'm honest, at least half my efforts involve way too much cursing, swearing, wishing I'd never started, and sometimes wasting lots of money. I had a chat with Tim from Spirit of the Seventies. About the batteries and he just laughed, cos even when pro's build customs they encounter exactly the same kind of problems, especially when you meddle with modern fuel injected bikes that use ECUs and immobilisers.
