Wednesday, January 28, 2009. This is the school that we teach at. It is so nice. The teachers are awesome to work with and the kids are great. Stretching for the day. I don't know where the stretching poses came from but I liked it so I took a picture. Just incredible flexibility. They are so limber. At the bus stop. Here are some of the cool girls in my group. Thursday, December 10, 2009. Every year the Multicultural Club puts on this show called Salsabration. There is plenty of singing, plenty of dancing, and plenty of new food to try. My room mate Diana did a traditional Mexican dance in it this year. They practiced for so long and worked so hard on it. They did such a good job. Diana is such an incredible dancer. Diana also has a stomach of steel. They had a jalapeno eating contest and she at four of them! I would have died. It was a good day!

Saturday, April 11, 2009. This is what we saw as we got out of the bus. We drove 4 hours to see these rice terraces but instead we drove 4 hours to see a cloud as Annie so realistically put it. Luckily the clouds rolled out about an hour later. It was clear for the time we were there then as soon as we were getting on the bus the clouds were coming back in. We are so lucky! The best things in life are not things. Apr 10, 2009. The BIG GOOSE PAGODA. This is a temple! We decided to go at night because there is this light/water show and its suppose to be amazing! So we decided to go! We were suppose to get on bus number 23 so we looked for a bus station and finally found one! We got on the bus and headed for the Pagoda! So we thought) we were on the bus forever! And when we came to the end of the line the bus driver said we had to get off! Haha what idiots we are!

Monday, May 4, 2009. Whoo I caught up! I have been sick more often in the past 4 months then I have in the past 5 years. Well, I am going to stop doing all this jazz and go lay down for a while. The best things in life are not things. Apr 27, 2009. So one day Jess and I got talkin about home and what we missed and talk about BBQ's came up! So we decided we were going to have a BBQ. but then the bad news came. they don't really sell grills here! We found one but it was REALLY really small! So we thought our BBQ night was out. sad story! Well then one day we found out that Joe (our Chinese brother.) had a grill custom made so we could have our BBQ! How nice is that! It was quite the experience!

The best things in life are not things. Apr 10, 2009. If this is what I REALLY look like to chinese people.I will shoot myself! So that night we went and saw the Pagoda Jessica had a BRILLIANT idea! We saw this artist and she said. "we should get our picture drawn! Haha so we thought hmm. ok! That could be fun! We sat there for TWO HOURS posing! I felt like a little kid because I couldn't sit still and after 30 minutes of me just sitting there smiling he still wasn't done with my mouth! Haha it was awful!
