March 19, 2015. 6 year PostTransplant Appt. Brian and I headed up to Akron Children’s on Friday, March 6th. We met with Dr Savelli. Always fun to see the Doctor and the other staff members. Brian’s Counts: WBC – 9.1, Hgb – 16.5, Plat – 230, ANC – 5.8. Brian also had an Echocardiogram – which looked great. And he went through his Pulmonary Functions test. Monday, September 2, 2013. It's going to be a great year. Last time I tried to keep my blog updated, normal life was interrupted by a woman. While there are few regrets with that relationship, I do wish my blog hadn't suddenly turned to focusing on her. Hopefully this season I'll be more effective. Update on Ed
We spent six and a half weeks of daily (Monday through Friday) trips to radiation and also two six hour treatments of chemotherapy spaced three weeks apart. Though Ed was initially scheduled for three chemotherapy treatments, the tumor responded so well to the first two, Ed was spared the last treatment. He finished his last radiation treatment on May 6th and here we are finally getting to a place that will allow us to hopefully keep you all informed on his progress. Monday, February 21, 2011.
