He had heart surgery last night at 10:30 Chicago time. Its so wonderful to have this happened on Valentines Day! Wednesday, February 6, 2008.

Grandpa and Grandma Manthei treated the whole family to a weekend getaway at the Great Wolf Lodge. This was to celebrate the birthdays of Grandpa, Uncle Jason, Kevin, and Owen. At first I think the waterpark was a little overwhelming for Owen. He wanted nothing to do with the water. After awhile and with the help of Grandpa Manthei Owen gave the water a try.and loved it! He didn't want to get out of the water. He was even brave enough to do down the slide.over.and over again! Happy 2nd Birthday Owen.

4th of July Weekend. We had a fun filled 4th of July weekend! We borrowed my brother and sister-in-law's boat and slipped it in Muskegon where Kevin's parents have their boat. Kevin took the boat out there Thursday morning and Owen and I met up with him on Friday. Our plan was for all of us to sleep on the boat and come home on Sunday. 4 years and 1 year. Happy 4th birthday Owen! Today Owen asked that I take pictures of him and his brother. They were so cute! They posed all by themselves :). One of my favorites!
