I have worked in clay for over twenty years and have ten years experience teaching children and adults. Classes have varied from strictly work on the pottery wheel to hand building, sculpture, and tiling in any combination of techniques. I endeavor to meet students at their own level of experience and help facilitate their creative goals and ideas. My work has focused on stoneware, functional, wheel-thrown, and hand-built pottery. I have also provided private instruction in meditation and guitar.

May 12, 2009. Hosts a potter for its Artist in Residence Program". Upper Dauphin Area Elementary School recently hosted Jeff Drinkwater, a potter based in Baltimore, for its 2008 2009 Artist in Residence Program. Drinkwater, owner of Upper Nodd Clayworks, demonstrated and taught throwing on the potter’s wheel. Students have enjoyed learning how to throw and create pottery. Drinkwater commented that he sees a lot of future ‘Mud People’ at UDA, according to elementary art teacher Ann Bonwit.
