This Side of Logic: March 2010
http://thissideoflogic.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. March 25, 2010. How dare you tease me with a sunny day just to take it away. March 23, 2010. A few months ago I did an internship with Paradigm Communications Group - the people who bring you Alaska Air and Horizon Air Magazines. Today I received a phone call from Email Broadcast - a company that does PR work for other companies. They have an internship opening that I applied for last week and they've asked me to come in and interview. My first ...

This Side of Logic: November 2008
http://thissideoflogic.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. November 28, 2008. Work is really starting to wear on me. Is there such a thing as the Four-Year-Itch? Cause I think I've caught it. November 14, 2008. Often times when I start my morning reading the news, I get queasy. So much is being thrown at me from National to World to Local news that it can easily seem overwhelming. So this morning I had my breakfast before I searched the headlines. Yes, his goal is to convince people to have them. Th...

This Side of Logic: January 2009
http://thissideoflogic.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. January 26, 2009. There is a tan truck in front of my condo building that is parked in two spots. It doesn't appear to be an accident since he does this daily. And believe-you-me, it's not because he's worried about the condition of his prized position. The Adam Sandler "Piece of Shit Car" song comes to mind. January 23, 2009. Our favorite "Gracie Songs" were started and halted in mid-sentence. Her much-loved toys lied untouched. We wanted to gi...

This Side of Logic: Kinlie
http://thissideoflogic.blogspot.com/2009/06/kinlie.html
This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. June 19, 2009. Despite the lack of quality time that I retrospectively spent with Kinlie and Hanna, I remember those summers fondly. My sister is 14 years my senior which made me closer in age to my nieces. Since I had desperately wanted a younger sibling, those girls answered the wish upon a star that I made as a little girl. Despite her permission, I waited for something to fall through but it didn't. A few weeks ago my husband and I drove...

This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. February 27, 2009. Last week I sent myself an article from the New York Times about writing a cover letter. Today I was let go. February 26, 2009. This was emailed to me today with the tag: "This is you.". Courtesy of "stuff white people like #104". February 24, 2009. Today is going to be hard, and so is tomorrow. I'm just glad that you have her to give you these in this time of duress. Family Time: Like Herding Cattle. February 14, 2009. I woul...

This Side of Logic: May 2009

This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. May 30, 2009. Margaritas and My Favorite Boys. Yesterday I was working on a paper for school and Justin was playing on his computer when I got a text from Daniel. He wanted a reason to play hooky so I invited him over. We spent the rest of the afternoon walking on the beach at low-tide, meeting his friend for drinks, and heading back to the house for margaritas. There were a few moments of "aah, remember this moment" because I was just so happy.

This Side of Logic: Too Good To Be True
http://thissideoflogic.blogspot.com/2010/06/too-good-to-be-true.html
This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. June 20, 2010. Too Good To Be True. So I few months back I wrote about my new-found interest in Public Relations. I was so excited to have finally found something that interested me that also had the possibility of a stable future. And being that I'm an English Literature major, the stable interests seem to be few and far between, which made PR all the more appealing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Too Good To Be True. This Side of Logic: Did You Know?
http://thissideoflogic.blogspot.com/2009/08/did-you-know.html
This Side of Logic. A life's journey with logic at my side. August 25, 2009. I recently wrote a research paper for my Politics and Culture class on the influence that Marijuana has on current California politics and I came across this interesting time-line. Thought I'd share:. 8226; 2737 BC: Cannabis referred to as a "superior" herb in the world's first medical text, or pharmacopoeia, Shen Nung's Pen Ts'ao, in China. 8226; 400 AD : Cannabis cultivated for the first time in the UK at Old Buckenham Mere.
