Upper Crossing of the York River. The York River is located in the Commonwealth of Virginia and within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. The George P. Coleman Bridge, connecting Gloucester Point and Yorktown, is the only bridge that crosses the York River. The Coleman Bridge is located at the southern end of the York River close to the convergance point with the Mobjack Bay. River, the Bridge length is estimated to be a maximum of 2 miles long. Upriver Dulcimer
Is a non-profit musical group. Founded in 2007. The group promotes the musical instrument called the Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer. We hope it will help and encourage the use of this cultural instrument and assist in the development of the musical abilities of its members, in turn preserving the dulcimers cultural heritage.
