Monday, January 17, 2011. I just found this while cleaning up our computer files. Jane had just turned three and desperately wanted to skip. Jane and grey have been yelling and playing happily in their room for about half an hour. the problem: it's bedtime. i've already tucked them in twice. jane has already prayed for "no bad dreams and no sad dreams, only happy dreams," among other useful things. and now i am sitting here, pinned by flora and a stupid summer cold (seriously, what gives? While brad is with the missionaries, and the children are in there playing like jungle beasts. We'll talk about it then," i say.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. I Don't Sleep, I Dream. I tend to have vivid dreams anyway, but my dreams are especially vivid and kooky when I'm pregnant. Once, when I was pregnant with Jane, I dreamed my stomach was see-through and Jane was just looking out at us. She looked a bit like an alien. A couple nights ago I had a dream with very clear influences of what I was doing or thinking about before sleeping. Observe. Translated in my dream: my parents were Rob and Laura Petrie.
