We met to discuss my program for Little Chef's school I wish I wasn't as busy with everything else so I can dedicate more time teaching kids about food. Namee is learning how to cook. Tuesday, January 01, 2008. I always make a list of few New Year's resolution when the new year comes. and I try to keep them. Seriously. Religiously. I don't make it through the year for some of them, but I can proudly say, for the most part. I do. But I'm going back to that NYR. I'll probably post some of my old drafts to catch up on my backblog, I mean every now and then. At this point though, I'll focus on the current. that way I can move on, right? Links to this post.

Namee is learning how to cook. Friday, November 12, 2010. I kept my mom's letter to me when I was in the States and craving for home made holiday treat. Tomorrow, I'll get to share that at the Salcedo Market :-). Caramelize 1 cup sugar over medium heat until melted. Line bottom of desired molds. Butter the side of the molds. In bain marie for 15 to 30 minutes depending on the molds that you use. When firm, then they are done. You can either steam or bain marie in the oven at 300 degrees F.

Namee is learning how to cook. Thursday, May 22, 2008. I Love This Cook! Can't get enough of David Cook! Links to this post. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Speaking of ducks, who doesn't love Duck Liver Mousse? It's one of the best liver products from ducks (maybe next to Foie Gras, which I have to admit, is a real pleasure to the palate). 1 tamis (sieve or a mesh strainer). 1 4-in deep full size pan for bain marie. It's always good to know what you will need! 2 lbs ground pork fat back. 1/3 oz quatre epice.

Namee is learning how to cook. Friday, March 30, 2007. Right Through The Very Heart Of It. The next local spot that my cousin, Frederick took me was Typhoon Lounge. On Saint Marks Pl in the East Village. You know it's good sushi when sushi eating people gather at the spot. Typhoon Lounge's clientele are mostly Japanese and Korean! Plus they have yummy soju and sake cocktails. We were ordering them by the pitcher! 79 Saint Marks Pl. New York, NY 10003-7955. Photo grabbed from http:/ arjs.jugem.cc/? The wi...

35 Things to Do Before I Turn 35. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Angkor Wat in Redscale Negative. I'm sure you have seen hundreds of pictures of Angkor Wat by now. Hence, I will no longer bore you with the same perspectives taken with a digital camera, especially since I know there are better photographers out there. Let me share with you instead my Angkor Wat point-of-view using my Lomo LC-A using a redscale negative. Links to this post. Labels: 21) See the Angkor Wat. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Julie and Julia...

35 Things to Do Before I Turn 35. Sunday, December 19, 2010. Cambodian Heaven: Pavillon D' Orient Part Deux. For starters, we had this uber-comfy bed to come home to every night. And, it comes with that bed canopy drape that's just very princess-y! We also had a tea corner, where they put our daily supply of huge water bottles every day. Every morning, we had a fresh basket of sweet tropical fruits. And, at night, we had a bedtime story - of Cambodian legends - laid out on the bed. Cambodian congee, AND.
