Niels had a conference to attend that was actually held on the Disney property so we had a once in a lifetime chance to go with most of our expenses paid. We are all glad we went, mostly just for the 6 days of warm, humid air. but I admit that there were moments that were. dare I say it? Did I mention that my cell phone was stolen?

Shoot, in the time since we last posted a blog entry we could have conceived and given birth to a new baby. ha, ha, ha. that however is most certainly not the case. Instead we are busily preparing for Christmas in our different ways: I am baking up a storm and trying to write Christmas cards here and there; Niels is remodeling our half bath at breakneck speed so it can be done for. Friday, September 15, 2006. Every Tuesday evening around 7:00 a host of young college kids (plus a couple of seniors in high school) descend on our house asking questions like "What about polygamy? And "Where's your Vanilla Cream Soda? Pictured above are Stephanie and Charles (Parkland and U of I, respectively) and Laura (U of I too now! We felt so blessed and cared for.
