DFV Must Have Ingredients. Saturday, March 12, 2011. 12 oz frozen artichoke hearts (defrosted). 88 oz hearts of palm (drain liquid). 145 can fire roasted diced tomatoes. Dash of salt and pepper. Chop artichoke hearts, avocados, hearts of palm, and cilantro into a large bowl. Mix in tomatoes, liquid and all. Juice limes and stir in ( add one at a time, you may like less or may want more.) DFV Must Have Ingredients. Friday, May 13, 2011. Pea and Hearts of Palm Salad. 1 lb bag frozen peas defrosted. 1 cup frozen corn defrosted. Approximately 1/2 cup jarred/bagged Hearts of Palm (3 shoots) chopped. 1/3 cup vegan mayo. Juice of one lemon. 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt. 1 tsp nutritional yeast. Mix ingredients from mayo to Braggs in a serving bowl until smooth. Gently stir in peas, corn and hearts of palm until well blended. Chill for at least a half hour. Serve and enjoy. It was gooey and delicious but didn't hold the shape of a piece of pie at all. After being in the fridge over night it firmed up and it was slice-able and held the pie slice shape nicely and was still just as tasty! DFV Must Have Ingredients. Saturday, February 5, 2011. After years of playing with it I have finally made a Spinach Artichoke Dip that I would make a again and that is worth sharing. The Stuffed Mushrooms. Came out with such a cheesy flavor that I felt inspired. If I was serving this, it would definitely be in a bread bowl (I threw the recipe together last minute and had no bread bowl on hand.) It was also good with tortillas chips. 8 oz crimini mushrooms. 2 tsp Earth Balance. 1/4 tsp garlic powder.
