Treble Choir is a large choir open to students with high pitched voices in grades 10-12. An audition with solo singing, sight-reading, and tonal memory components is required. This class emphasizes healthy singing technique and basic music literacy. Select Treble Choir performs a wide variety of choral repertoire in multiple concerts throughout the school year. Vitality, the prep show choir at Urbandale High School, is an auditioned group of 64 singers, 19 band members, and 13 crew. Under the direction of Chris Conner, Jenna Connolly, and Jeff Temple, with choreography by Anne Chapman, they are one of six performing choirs at UHS. In 2016, Vitality will compete at Waukee, Millard West, NIACC, and Cedar Rapids Jefferson. They will also co-host the 33rd Annual Urbandale Show Choir Invitational with Studio 2016.
