Simply stated, urban exploring is the exploration of a city or town as a result of mere fascination. Although the word urban does not imply abandoned , it is often assumed. It often relates to exploring an old and abandoned building that was popular at one time, but can also include exploring outside places that were once popular city attractions (such as abandoned theme parks). Urban exploring is much like hiking. As you walk through the trail now, you can almost feel the life that was there at one time.
