http://blackgirladventures.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 29, 2007. It's Friday, so you know what that means.I'm at work, twiddling my thumbs. Net surfing, reading and writing queries, although I should be doing evaluations. That's too much like right though. Lately, I've gotten that feeling again. I want to start my very own business. But in what? There are many services that I can offer, but which service am I best in? Writing, PR, public speaking/facilitating? Spirit is in my blood. Right now, I'd love to begin doing some things on the side ...

Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Oh Yeah, It's Halloween. It's Halloween. Whoop de do.I feel really guilty for not being excited about Halloween. I don't think my household will be participating in the festivities. Not because I think Halloween is a satanic or evil holiday, but because.I'm tired! We'll have to keep the front light off. I really hate that becaues the kids deserve some fun and seeing a house with no light on is NOT FUN. It says, "We don't give a damn if you want candy. GO HOME! Links to this post.

That when find hot sites or online mags that sign up or register for them. Here's a brand-spanking new (as in February 2007)site called Journalisticks. An online community for writers. I like to think of it as a M yspace. For journalists, but I could wrong. I just registered maybe an hour ago. Launched in February 2007, Journalisticks. Links to this post.

Friday, April 27, 2007. It's Friday. Thank the Lord! I'm still busy as heezie, but I'm leaving early for a hair appointment. Gotta stay on top of the hair game, ya know. Even a month later after I notified other friends and family about my blog and Honey/Clutch gig, my mother is still reading my blog. Ummm.that's a good thing, right? Sure it is. In fact, I'm surprised she even remembers the link or kept the original email. Yesterday, she called me and told me I use too much profanity in the blog. Anyway,...

Monday, February 26, 2007. Tyrone Biggums Changed My Tire. Driving to work this morning, an 18-wheeler in front of me on the expresseway kicked up something that went under my car. Before I knew it, a woman in the left lane was motioning for me to look at my tire. I immediately got off at the next exit into the gas station. Because if it can happen, it will happen to me. First he asked me to turn the radio on so he could "wake up and feel the beat.". Don't play me, dude. Just put the damn tire on already!

Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Disclaimer: This is not a "I remember when." post. This is in no. Way an opportunity to discount their moves to gospel music. I love their new music. Just something I was thinking about! Don't play, everybody knows Coko. If you didn't know her, you fasho knew those claws she had for fingernails. Check out her new music here. Anyway, here's one of my favs. And I can't believe I was listening to this at the age of 12! Pretty mild for these times, though, don't you think? Either w...

Friday, December 22, 2006. Dear Mr. Irreplaceable. I don't mean no harm, but. I'm so damn tired of Beyonce's Irreplaceable! Yeah, yeah, I know almost every woman can relate and it's a real song. But dude, can you Puh-LEEEEASE. Hurry up and get everything you own in the box to da left? So this song can get to to da left, to da left and bring it down on the constant airplay! Quarterlife Mocha Girl: November 2006
http://blackgirladventures.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Just some random thought from today (and now). I think I just realized at 4:57 pm today that my pants were high-water. Did they shrink over the course of the day? I was hella perturbed because I had to run to the mall. I know what I say when I see women with high waters on. It ain't good either. Pair that up with a chick who's 5'10 like myself and it only makes the situtation worse. I'm thinking to myself, "Now she know damn well they had them pants in Talls! It's Hump Day&#...
