Aug – Nov 2016. School Holiday Classes Sept 2016. I have loved sewing for as long as I can remember. Eight years ago I began teaching beginners how to sew at Thread and Ginger Patchwork Boutique in Victoria Point. In March 2010 I opened the Urban Sewing Lounge and until 2012 I taught regularly in both locations. Urban Sewing has grown into a lovely community in which new sewers are welcomed, triumphs are celebrated and knowledge is shared. And of course there is always the next sewing project to plan for.

Enjoy small classes and personal tuition in a dedicated fully equipped sewing studio in nearby East Brisbane. Class includes tuition, use of sewing machines and other equipment. Patterns, books, cotton and other useful items are available to buy at reasonable prices.
