I decided to share my following thoughts and plans with you guys because I want to change a bad habit. But I need some pressure, someone looking over my shoulder. That is why I need you. If someone would give you the exact amount of money you earn in your current job, would you still work (and get double the salary) or quit your job (and still get one salary)? I never worked full-time (except for internships) because I am still a full-time student. But when I signed the contract for my next internship. I came up with this thought experiment. Now that Christmas is over, my conclusion is that I like the advent season more than Christmas itself. I could lie and tell you how relaxing and unwinding Christmas was but that is not the truth. Lessons from Death | life as julia

This week a family member passed away. I haven’t spoken with this person in over 15 years. It wasn’t a person you want to surround yourself with. I don’t want to go too much in detail because I think you shouldn’t speak negatively about a person who can’t defend himself anymore. When I heard of the news, I had to cry. I wasn’t sad about this person’s death, I was sad about how he wasted his life. He pushed everyone who loves him away. Lessons I learned from his life:. 1 Love is most important in life.

Happy new year everybody! How was your 2017 so far? Have you already misspelled the year? I was missing in action lately. My deadline for the programming project was 31.12. at midnight (I mentioned this stupid project in some of my monthly recaps. Nothing is more motivating than a deadline…. Anyways, yesterday afternoon I was ready to upload my project but all of a sudden my code didn’t work anymore! So I was basically frantically looking for a solution. I was (and still am) so relieved.
