WAVES & SAND: Tessa is One!
http://jessandeddy.blogspot.com/2012/06/tessa-is-one.html
We can't believe that she is already one- 1 year. It seems to have gone so fast, and yet at times, so slowly. Tessa is an absolute joy- a little fire ball, full of squeals and screams, and a strong will. We are truly blessed to have the kids we have! Her birthday was actually a few days ago, but we threw her a party when more people could attend- Memorial day festivities are tough to contend with! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). WAVES & SAND: February 2012
http://jessandeddy.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The past few years have been a roller coaster of emotions- planning our move to the Land of Sand, getting there, coming back, having a son, going back, getting visas denied, having a daughter. and then waiting. and waiting. for something. Clarity? For sure we wondered if we were supposed to push harder on some doors to get back into the country we had focused on for so long. And yet, we lacked peace. So, we looked into buying a house- and found one! We close on our house in Salem on 3/15 and we're fairly...

Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest,. Or maybe just a Soboll anomaly! Even right now, as I'm typing, thinking, processing, meditating, praying, there are distractions, pulling my focus away. For one- my adorable, not-so-little bundle of 30lb joy, Benjamin, is hanging on my legs, whining for attention, craving time with mommy. So, um, maybe these times of prayer and seeking, hearing from God what to be obedient in, can be VERY short! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

WAVES & SAND: Outside!
http://jessandeddy.blogspot.com/2012/05/outside_19.html
We love having a backyard. Seriously. I knew we were missing something in our townhome place in MN, but I didn't realize just how much we were missing- WOW. We're out there at least 3x/day. running, swinging, working in the garden, playing. It's just beyond wonderful! And while MN for sure has more playgrounds- phenomenally more- the sheer beauty of OR and it's natural environment is hard to beat. We've enjoyed spending time at parks and running around the YWAM base with the kiddos. Step by Step with God.

So Long MN. Hello OR! The drive out was. ok. Which, as those of you with toddlers can attest, is GREAT. We had a few minor freak-out times, but all in all, 4 days of 7-8 hours of driving, the kids were stellar. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Homemade Away From Home. Eddy is in the middle of his 2nd week of school. and he says it is going well. He's taking 5 classes- including biology, writing and public speaking- and has already written a paper and given a speech- way to go, honey! I'm browsing the internet for job opportunities in the area. Ultimately, we'll need to figure out what to do with the kiddos while Eddy is at school and I'm working, before I can start applying. We'll keep you posted on our progress! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We are a happy family of fi...
