The goal of this West Virginia based program is to provide state-wide education about testicular cancer to educators and to teach young men the appropriate technique for testicular self-examination in order to increase rates of early detection and cure. Testicular cancer is most common among males between the ages of 15 and 35. That means you could be at risk. It’s a type of cancer that develops in the testicles, a part of the male reproductive system. In the United States about 8,000 to 9,000 diagnoses of testicular cancer are made each year.
