A Few Captured Moments. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. About a year ago Big Baby's face froze in a daunting expression. Her eyes at half-mast in an eternal pause between closed and open. We changed the batteries and tried what we could to "revive" Big Baby, but she had cried her last cry. After being broken for so long, the new Big Baby was like a brand new toy. Elyse thrived on settling her cries and insisted on bringing her along to most places, just as she has the old one. I decided to wait and see....

A Few Captured Moments. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Both girls have ear infections right now. I awoke to screaming kids tugging on ears. I'm thankful over and over that we live immediately next door to a Pediatrician and a Psychologist.very helpful resources at times. He took a quick peek at both girls and confirmed my suspicions. This is the first ear infection either of them have ever had. 1 1/2 cups chickpeas or white beans (1 can, drained and rinsed). 3/4 tsp baking powder. 1/8 tsp baking soda.
