An American from Paris in China. May 28th, 2011. The other day my friend L. called me and asked if I could help carry cotton quilts to the factory behind the school. A) my friend L. is cool. B) I had never heard of cotton-quilt being refreshed/remade. C) actually, I had never really thought of quilts being in cotton. D) I had never heard of recycle cotton quilt factories. We ended up in this two room factory full of cotton hanging up the ceiling, workers wearing masks and cotton all around us and on us.
