USHASRIKUMAR'S COOKSPACE AND MORE. Thursday, June 12, 2014. SWEET MAIDA CUTS / MAIDA BISCUITS. Here is a tasty ,easy to make any time snack. MAIDA(ALL PURPOSE FLOUR)-1 CUP. Powder the sugar in a mixie. Sieve together the maida,soda bicarbonate salt,elaichi powder and powdered sugar. To this mixture add a few spoons of oil and mix to get a crumb-texture. Sprinkle water little by little and knead to a stiff dough. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Make lemon sized balls out of this dough and dust them with maida .

USHASRIKUMAR'S COOKSPACE AND MORE. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Here is another tasty and healthy pongal which is a great dish for your breakfast or dinner. COOKED MOONG DHAL- 1 CUP. CUMIN SEEDS -1 /2 TEASPOON. CASHEW NUTS -1/2 CUP. Pressure cook the moong dhal with enough water. Puree the dhal well. Add enough salt to the dhal. Mix in some water so the dhal is about 5 cups in quantity. Heat some oil in a pan. Fry the cumin seeds ,peppercorns and the cashews. Now,add the rawa and roast well. Links to this post.
