Monday, June 24, 2013. I thought I had better pictures of our new digs. But, it's better than nothing, right? In our first week here, we bought a lawn mower, and a pickup truck. Then we all went for rides on the lawn mower, because that's what you do in the country. :). The white shed is on the right-hand side of the house, it's where we keep our trash cans, lawn tools and various species of wasps. This picture is looking out on to our street. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Girls weekend in Vail. My fabulous mother decided that my sister-in-law, Poppi, and I needed some time off. So she took us to Vail, Colorado for a few days this last June. It was so much fun! The village of Vail is a wonderfully quaint tourist attraction. There were more shops and restaurants than we could even begin to explore. Monday, November 8, 2010. We went to a party at Pegi's house on Friday night. I love this picture, because it is so us. Paul is whacking Reed in the face with his sword and Maggie's hat is falling over her eyes. Grace personified, that's us. Monday, February 25, 2013. A whole lot has been going on in our lives since the last post. Since I have done a terrible job of updating, and I'm going to do better, here's a brief re-cap post on the past few months. Next post, I'll finally get around to what's going on now. In October, we did Halloween. In November, Maggie and Ellen were baptized. Aren't they beautiful in their white dresses? Thank you Auntie Vicki! I love pictures of Ellen laughing. Maggie is too cool. Wednesday, October 6, 2010. There seem to be lots of folks interested in losing weight. I love all the questions that I have received. So I decided to start another blog just about weight loss, so this one can be about my family. Monday, July 12, 2010. Some heavy thinking about weight loss. About two years ago I decided that it was time for me to lose weight. I had been to the doctor for my yearly check-up and the number on the scale was shocking. I promised myself that I would never, never weigh that much again. The resulting journey has been long (it's not over yet), frustrating, exhilarating and exhausting. And, I have learned some things along the way. And I'm overweight.
