Tracking The Tharpe's: Part 1 continued
http://trackingthetharpes.blogspot.com/2009/01/part-1-continued.html
Sunday, January 4, 2009. We went back to the apartment early on Christmas Eve to read stories and play games. Our jetlag was really bad and none of us could go to sleep until 4-5am, which meant we woke up at 12-1pm on Christmas Day - fun, fun! We bought it off of the street, wrapped in paper and piping hot - I don't think I can eat waffles again here in the States! By the way did I mention that it was COLD in Brussels? After about 2 hours of walking, I could no longer feel my feet! Marine Corps Does NY.

Tracking The Tharpe's: December 2008
http://trackingthetharpes.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Breakfast in the San Diego airport. Trey told me to "pose". Trey and Bella being silly! Trey said the pilot said this was the Mississippi River! After a whole day of traveling (always exhausting) we have made it! The weather here is surprisingly mild, about 45-50, so we are pleased! Trey got sick on the way over and is still not 100%! So if he is not better tomorrow, I might have to make that call! So please keep him in your prayers so he can get out and enjoy Brussels! We are...

Friday, November 28, 2008. Trey had to get in on the action! Bella in red fur with rhinestones! Bella in blue felt! Thursday, November 27, 2008. I would have extended my stay in Vegas, but I had to get back to prepare for family coming in from Atlanta! The kids have really enjoy her being here, especially since she told them she was a snake charmer! Trey really believes her and I think she believes it as well! Enjoy the pics of Bella when she got into her grandma’s suitcase! I was so flustered about the ...

Didn't you love the Christmas Market? I missed seeing them this year (we were there the past 2 years) Do they have Gluhwein? That is my favorite. We will have out last bottle I saved today! A blessed and merry Christmas to you all. Love, Carolyn. December 25, 2008 at 9:44 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Marine Corps Does NY.

Tracking The Tharpe's: Brussels, Part 1
http://trackingthetharpes.blogspot.com/2009/01/brussels-part-1.html
Sunday, January 4, 2009. Brussels, Part 1. To pick up where I left off, Trey only got worse, so we made the call to Belgium's universal healthcare line and a English speaking doctor showed up within an hour at OUR apartment! He wrote 4 prescriptions and that cost us a whopping $20! Enough about that, he made a full and speedy recovery and we were back in business! We also had our first taste of Belgian beer - very good! Tracking The Tharpe's: We made it!
http://trackingthetharpes.blogspot.com/2008/12/we-made-it.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2008. After a whole day of traveling (always exhausting) we have made it! The weather here is surprisingly mild, about 45-50, so we are pleased! Trey got sick on the way over and is still not 100%! His fever has gone away, but his throat is sore and he is having "dips". The only saving grace is doctors will come to you over here is Brussels and the standard of care is classified as high! So if he is not better tomorrow, I might have to make that call!
