So, here you go . us escaping from the MTC. (We did not even check out! Notice Marlene's grey skirt. The only one she brought for the week. I was soooo tired of seeing it every day. Here are a couple of photos from our time at the MTC. The last one is of our wonderful Russian tutor, Karolyn Cropper.

The Johnson's in Moscow. Monday, January 28, 2013. Monday evening, 28 January 2013. It's a heat wave, 13 F. No problems here. I don't know how it works, but every time we go where there is statuary we see that our friends have been to Russia, posing for these works of art. Judge for yourself. The children who visited us in October will recognize some of these scenes. We retraced the steps of that pleasant afternoon. The family had arranged to have this sign made. Everyone chipped in except Benjamin.

The Johnson's in Moscow. Sunday, February 24, 2013. Staring at 2:00 pm Moscow time. Sunny and 17. Just about perfect. Sunday afternoon, going down. We have to go to the Doctors' flat (Area doc and Area Mental Health lady) for dinner. So I will finish this evening. I think Dave and Dave know the mental health lady. At least she is able to describe their personalities to a T. Well, try to stay awake. Finishing at 10:00 pm Moscow time, 11:00 am in Utah. Voila'. Pushkin is the last word in the sign above.

Born 3 months early at 1 lb. 12 oz., we weren't sure if she would make it. This picture is of her with a beanie baby to show how small she was. CLICK HERE FOR BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Thursday, July 7, 2011. I Like to Hike. After that, we went to Boulder, Utah and stayed overnight. We found a great little restaurant there, which was nice. The next morning, we went to Burr Trail, and did a couple little hikes there. It was beautiful, but not amazing for hiking. The drive along the Burr Trail was spectacular, though. Next, we did a quicky to Bryce Canyon, which was free because Dianne is a Senior Citizen! It was very scary. July 7, 2011 at 9:30 PM.
