Friday, April 27, 2012. A little late, but some video shot at Pat's house over Easter. Links to this post. I wanted to get the blog updated, but don't have a lot of time (I'm typing one-handed right now as a matter-of-fact, and holding our baby in the other). So you'll all have to forgive me for the brevity. So many prayers were answered this week - both spoken, and prayers of our hearts. Charles (Charlie for now) Edward Bakker arrived safely on Sunday! 7lbs 8 ounces, and 19.5" long. Links to this post.

Charlie was up all night with stomach cramps, and not much actually made it in his mouth. An awesome quilt from grandma and grandpa. And a car of his very own - just like all the big boys. Thursday, October 4, 2012. Happy birthday baby girl! It's hard to believe that Ella is closer to driving than she is to being born. Nine years ago we had our baby girl. And man is she growing up quickly all of a sudden. For her birthday we go some free food at Joe's BBQ, Joe's Grill, and Libery Market. We took Ella and cousins and friend to Build-a-Bear. Thursday, August 30, 2012. I pray a hedge of protection. So we sent Luke to a different preschool than all our other kids, at the Methodist church down the street. And this came home from preschool on Luke's backpack today. Hmmmmmm. What exactly does that. do? Paige told me about it at dinner, and our kids got wind of it and started asking all kinds of questions. What does a blessing mean? Why did they pray to a backpack? Tuesday, January 1, 2013. PADT Pumpkin Launch 2012. The last few years at work we've had a tradition of destroying more pumpkins than we carve for Halloween. I think I've somehow been designated the unofficial master of ceremonies (not sure how that happened.) And after the disappointment of last year's attempt, I was determined to put a little more thought into it this year. So as has also become tradition, I didn't start preparing until the weekend before. Set up in the parking lot at work.
