Utah Big Game Records Committee adopted the Boone and Crockett, Pope and Young and Longhunter Society measuring systems. Strict adherence will be paid to rules and regulations of each of these organizations including Fair Chase. Trophy owners must wait 60 days after harvest before measuring trophies. Pick-up entries will not be eligible for the awards program. Velvet entries are accepted. The same minimums apply as for the hard-horned category.

The record book contains information on all 10 species of big game animals found in Utah. The contents include the following:. Big Game Awards Program. High-resolution digital photos are preferred. Keep photos at 1MB or larger, JPG and TIF formats are preferred. The original photos from your camera’s memory card usually work fine. Don’t resize the photos for the internet. Some hunters may just want to give short description about the hunt. Be sure to include the hunters name and names of others in the photograph. You may include an unofficial score, number of points, width, hunt location/unit and any other information about the hunt.
