According to Merriam-Webster, artistry is the quality of effect or workmanship. Naturally, the effect of artistry at the piano is the connection of the pianist to the audience. This connection is manifested by the music played. The Joy of Music Blog.

Come Experience the Joy of Music. Friday, November 30, 2007. When to Start Piano Instruction? I have found there are four critical factors for young students who begin piano lessons. They are maturity, reading ability, mathematic skills, and desire. The first three are essential to musical success, while the last one can be developed over time.
