Friday, March 6, 2015. One of the most important things I have discussed with my friends about budgeting is the key to spend less than we earn. No matter what your priorities are in your spending, it is vital to keep in mind our future financial goals. Our immediate budget decisions will ultimately determine if we are on track for our long term financial goals. What are your financial priorities and why? I'd love to hear from you. Friday, June 19, 2009. You might hear APR or APY everyday on TV, the radio, or even the internet. I did a little reading on investopedia.com and here are some interesting findings to help the average consumer. What is the difference between apr and apy? A big difference in these two rates is the use of compounding interest. APR is a basic rate that doesn't use the compounding effect while APY does use this compounding effect. APR = Periodic rate X number of periods. Card for one month'. Links to this post.

Learning My Finance: Just Say No!
http://learningmyfinance.blogspot.com/2010/10/just-say-no.html
Friday, October 29, 2010. After work today, my wife told me about the few things she purchased from a yard sale this afternoon. One great find was a used national bestseller, "Financial Peace Revisited" by Dave Ramsey. What is it that makes it so difficult to stop the impulse purchases when we cannot afford them? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). FEEDJIT Live Traffic Feed.
