We are on the county road, on Long Ridge, at the south west end of Trinity County - this road continues south to Covelo and Round Valley Indian Reservation. Each Wintu family had its own tree or group of trees, to harvest in the Fall. Acorns were ground into flour and used in a variety of ways; uses included soups, meal, coffee, and more.
