Each Wintu family had its own tree or group of trees, to harvest in the Fall. Acorns were ground into flour and used in a variety of ways; uses included soups, meal, coffee, and more. We rejoice that God has blessed the Union community and enabled us to move forward together in so many ways and in so many areas across the campus.
