UW-Fox Valley Grappling Club: Name Change
http://uwfoxgrapplingclub.blogspot.com/2008/12/name-change.html
UW-Fox Valley Grappling Club. To promote Gracie Jiu-Jitsu as a means of self-defense and physical fitness. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. The club has voted to change it's name to the "grappling club". Our worry is that not enough students know what Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is, so this name may be intimidating. We also wish to invite anyone with other grappling skills such as Judo or Wrestling into the club, to make us all more well rounded. The more the merrier! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

2014 - 15 Meeting Dates and Paper Topics. Torch Club of the Fox Valley. Each Monthly meeting includes a social time, a business meeting, dinner, the presentation and discussion. We begin at 6:00 pm and generally like to conclude by 9:00 pm. While it would be difficult to rigorously enforce timing, and while we wouldn't want to stiffle engaged participation in any of the parts of the evening, here is a suggested time structure. 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm. 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm. 7:00 pm - 7:45 or 8:00 pm.
