Japan: where the weather is wet and the bugs are gigantic. Laquo; Saga Scavenger Hunt and Vietnam/Cambodia/Hong Kong. And the past three weeks…. June 9, 2009 by vakiko. So three weeks ago Auntie Linda and Uncle Alan visited with the Naitos. They got to see the main school I work at, meet my boyfriend, and see my apartment. Then we all headed down south to Kagoshima. In Kagoshima, we saw a shochu factory, made some soba (and ate it), the got buried in volcanic sand. Eating our hard work. Matt, me, Jason.

We spoke French most of the night and I was glad that the family could meet my friends. We all had a good time and I believe we really appreciated everyone’s company of the mix between the French and the Americans. . I thought is was sooo strange that you can lift up your teammate to catch the ball. It was crazy! Also, the constant passing back of the ball was more akin to soccer rather than football. All in all, pretty interesting. More interesting that the baseball game we saw. Lifting up pals to catch the ball. Will be arriving in SFO on Aug 1st!
