I came. I saw. I wrote it down…sometimes. Sometimes, you just have to be angry. May 17, 2015. During another night of insomnia driven reading last night, I got angry. Angry at this stupid disease. Angry that so many people have a mastectomy and reconstruction with no problems at all, yet I will probably not do any reconstruction at all because of my issues with healing. I thought that with the light of day I was pretty much over being angry. Maybe I’m not. I need to find something else to write about.

I came. I saw. I wrote it down…sometimes. October 27, 2014. At least I hope it was the last one. My port install went well on Thursday. Four days later, it is still a little sore, but it is definitely better. One sucky thing was that Dr. Boskind told me there is a spot on my sacrum that lit up on the PET scan, so it had to be biopsied. Hence, the additional visit today. In 2 days I start chemo. I came. I saw. I wrote it down…sometimes. December 10, 2014. Today is chemo #4. My halfway point. I’m glad to have reached this point with minimal issues. But, I hate this. I hate having to do this. I hate the worry in my husband’s face. I hate looking like this. I hate feeling the looks from other people, because yes I can feel them. Or maybe my insecurity is imagining them.
