Our Life...Well-Lived and Well-Loved!: December 2010
http://rebecca3108.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Our Life.Well-Lived and Well-Loved! Friday, December 24, 2010. Next week, I only work on Wednesday (orientation day, so I couldn't get off) and Molly will be here visiting. Should be a good, relaxing time. Then two more weeks of work, theoretically, and Julie will be here and I'll be on maternity leave! I can't believe we're almost to that already! Exciting things are happening in the next few weeks around the Romancky household. One picture for the road (more to follow as we do presents, I'm sure.):.

Our Life...Well-Lived and Well-Loved!: July 2010

Our Life.Well-Lived and Well-Loved! Thursday, July 29, 2010. Insert catchy title here, because I can't think of anything. I sometimes wonder when I'm laying on my side which way my baby is positioned in my tummy and whether or not all the blood is rushing to its little head. Is that strange? 24 weeks, 4 days until my due date. When you stop to think about it, that's not that far away. Lots to do between now and then! Thursday, July 22, 2010. The long awaited pregnancy update. We're still working on names...

Revolution: A Movement vs. A Location
http://epiccalling.blogspot.com/2012/09/a-movement-vs-location.html
September 10, 2012. A Movement vs. A Location. If you as a ministry leader, whether paid or volunteer, are equipping people to carry out God's plan only through the local church, you are not equipping them properly. Instead, we should focus on equipping them to fulfill God's plan through their lives which are connected and invested in the local church but not limited to use only inside. The Church Is A Movement Of God's People Not The Location Of A Building.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). These me...

June 7, 2011. Yesterday I read a quote from Tim Keller that said,. If we take our meaning in life from our family, our work, a cause, or some achievement other than God, they enslave us.". When I read that I thought back to talking about being driven yesterday. I truly believe that if you can honestly answer the question, "Who am I trying to please? Perhaps most deceptively, thousands upon thousands will wrap themselves up in their religion, their church involvement, and their ministries. Again, noth...

N Fact, That's Part Of The Miracle". Our theology must have a place for godly leadership. A theological system that leaves no room for God to use us not only isn't founded upon Scripture, it's just lazy. August 1, 2012. Capitol Building of Catalonia in Barcelona. April 3, 2012. The Difference Between Opinion and Perspective. I had an interesting conversation the other day about the varying opinions that anyone in leadership inevitably faces. Sometimes, literally every position on an issue or idea is represented in a group, and sometimes positions you didn't think existed are represented! So how do you know which opinions are more worthy of your time and recognition? Are they invested in you? Are they invested in the ministry? Are they invested in the business?

July 30, 2012. For the last year or so, the leadership organization/movement known as Catalyst. Has been exploring the theme of "Be Present". It's been all about making sure that as leaders we have one foot firmly planted in the "here and now" instead of being consumed solely with "what could be." After all, if you don't know where you are, you can't really get a vision for where you can go. Here's a simple truth that we as leaders often miss:. What are the opportunities in those areas that need your foc...

Baker's 3: Change
http://jandjbaker.blogspot.com/2010/05/change.html
Tuesday, May 4, 2010. It has been over a month since my last post. I have vowed that I am going to start making time for my blog again because I really love writing this. It is like an outlet for me to just write whatever I want about my thoughts and experiences. Cheap therapy I guess you could say. Let me just say that all of my fears and anxieties were justified and the entire moving process was a giant disaster. We were a perfect example of Newtons' law, and everything that could go wrong.did! The Ble...

Baker's 3: Two Fun Days in a Row!
http://jandjbaker.blogspot.com/2011/03/two-fun-days-in-row.html
Friday, March 18, 2011. Two Fun Days in a Row! Momma and Addy have been livin' it up the last two days! Yesterday was the first warm day of the spring and I was super excited to put Addy in one of her new spring outfits that she got for her birthday. Luckily, one of my most favorite of those outfits was lime green and perfect for her to wear on St. Patty's Day! Today, we went to the Nashville zoo with Julie and Lucy. The weather was fabulous! Sadly the fun, at least for now, is over. This weekend we ...
