I hope you will forgive me. :) We had a GREAT time the first day and a half until Kent twisted his ankle and had to lay around the next couple of days. We missed him on the slopes but we tried to have a good time anyway. We ended up getting LOTS of fresh powder(snow). It was fantastic! Trail view. It was so pretty. This one was taken at the top of the mountain. …It was COLD up there! Me and Kent :). Nathan at the top.

Mawmaws Memories’s Weblog. Archive for September, 2009. Visiting the seashore with our granddaughters. Friday at 1:30 that afternoon we were loaded up and on our way to the seashore. After about 20 minutes they wondered if we were almost there! Finally we were there and it was getting late. So we drove straight to the ferry and it seemed to take forever to get our turn to cross. We saw dolphins when we crossed and the girls thought that really neat! Saturday I promise there was no danger of over sleeping!

Mawmaws Memories’s Weblog. We went to Cloudcroft, New Mexico for a few days over Spring Break. We’ve never traveled to Cloudcroft during March – usually always in December or early January. Was surprised at how much snow they had. It was simply beautiful! On the way we stopped at Frontier Texas in Abilene. We thought Kimberly would love this toothbrush…ugh! We saw lots of antelope, mule deer and turkeys on the drive there and back. The Huge Windmills out there are so neat to watch. And here is our snowman.

Mawmaws Memories’s Weblog. Gotta Go Visit the Zoo! We took our first trip of the year to our zoo last week. It was Loralee’s first zoo visit and she loved the Fish and the Tiger. It was a beauty of a day and we ended up staying way longer than we planned. Even ate lunch there and their burgers and BQ sandwich’s and fries were pretty good. 8220;GOING WHEREVER MY CAMERA TAKES ME…”. On Thursday we took a tour of Jungfraujoch top of Europe. We took a cogwheel train to Europe’s highest railway station. Up we go…we had the best tour guide…he was always wanting to take pictures of us with the backgrounds…. We changed trains about half way up and continued to the top…. We really didn’t know what to expect of this tiny country…it is supposed to be one of the poorest countries….but it was really pretty…. This little group entertained us as we came ashore…. Here you can see the zip lines above the water…. This house was owned by some of the “richer” folks… 🙂.
