Four 'N' 20 Pies used to be in Van Nuys proper, in that funky, totally-early-'70s building that was replaced, I believe, by the Toyota dealership on Van Nuys Boulevard. Going eastbound on Ventura to northbound Woodman is never a fun turn, even sometimes later at night. My solution has always been to turn left onto a side street, which is much faster. Instead of staying with our units for the afternoon we set up a lot of activities and campers could go around to whichever activities they wanted to, whenever they wanted to, for as long as the wanted to. Face painting was by far the most popular station.It was SUPER fun! The PAs led some exciting songs. Sack races were fun! Did I mention that face painting was very popular?
