Saturday, November 27, 2010. Darwin's finishing Moore College (by Monday hopefully) and we have a few weeks to move out of our College house in the lovely Newtown. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. I have no time. When I used to work 3 days, I had heaps of time, but my days off soon filled up. Now that I work pretty much full time, I have no time - just time to eat, sleep, go to bible study, church and cook dinner once in awhile. It got me thinking about all the things I would do if I didn't work. Meet up with more people. Learn to sew, mend, craft. Tidy up the house more. Be more on top of paperwork at home. Cook and bake more. Garden (on my balcony, that is). I have no time.

Sunday, October 24, 2010. It's been nearly 5 weeks since our son John Dylan was born and died. And I can say we're doing a lot better over the past week or so. Things that used to make me sad and teary don't do so much anymore. Still sad, but not so teary. For the first few weeks after we came back from hospital, Darwin and I would sit across each other at a meal, and I would look at Darwin and say "It's just the two of us now, again", and we would start crying as we grasped the enormity of our loss.
