I could write a big rant about it, but this guy explains it. Pretty much perfectly (just global replace Emacs with Vim for me). Apparently IntelliJ is pretty good. Though; maybe I should try it some time. But it is tailored toward Java (not that Eclipse isn't), so it's not exactly generic like Vim. Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.". I start these words on the back steps of the Bloomington Obama Campaign Headquarters. Beautiful night and a promise of a spectacular dawn. I came to help. Instead I'm hiding out back writing. Typical really. Moving back inside. Not sure where this is going and I need to go in and refocus on the swell of their energy. Lots and lots of wireless routers. For those of you saying D&D 4E is too much like WoW, James Wyatt has written a rebuttal to justify a lot of the choices they made when designing the system:. Http:/ forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php? Wyatt's comments after the post are also worth reading, particularly his comments on character roles—he implies that four clerics is the "best party in the game" in 3E :-)—and product maturity:. On the edge of the Eternal Carnival sat a boy in a clean, modular hotel room, watching the shining creatures at play in the poisonous land outside. But this, this was the Eternal Carnival. And all it did was itch. That was before the poison bombs, of course. Here's the frequency you need! Why bother with the real thing? So, I spent a good portion of the day today talking with. And her fiancé about the Burning Wheel game I'm going to be running in a few weeks, and I'm really kind of pumped about it. It's already one of the better-planned games I've ever been going to run, and I'm not quite done with the planning yet. In other news, my new job finally cleared my background check and they want me to start work on Thursday. I'm excited about that as well. Also, my computer is still dead; I tried.
