John and Deanna Family. Tuesday, September 4, 2012. William Daniel Shumate Arrives. Sarah and John put the girls to bed and around 8pm, I asked John to call my midwife, Christine. He got her on the phone and said "Its time to come over, she's doing that low hummmm during each contraction." John knows from 3 other births that this is the signal just before pushing.
