The Diabo Beach is located between the Arpoador beach and Copacabana Fortress. Its waters are rough and therefore much frequented by surfers. Nearby the beach you can find the “Girl from Ipanema” park. A stretch of beach is part of the military area of the Copacabana Fortress and has restricted access, not permitted to bathers. August 11, 2015. A Summer's Day Out. This past Saturday, we never made it out to that shoot as I woke up feeling awful. Yesterday being Monday I finally felt better last night. Whatever it was has left me finally. So I hope my husband and I can go on our own some day to the Lazo Marsh. February 28, 2015. At Lost Lagoon 2. Some birds from the Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park. I believe the first image is the American Coot. Someone can correct me if I am wrong and in the second image is the Duck, Goose and two coots. Not great shots, I used my point and shoot Fuji camera. It is the right size for traveling. August 12, 2015. Mish Mash of Images. Recently while on Facebook, someone posted an idea of cutting off the ends of your Romaine Lettuce and Celery. Place them in a container or cup and fill with water. It was growing wonderfully in the windowsill in our kitchen as seen below. My friend in Comox has a beautiful garden and I captured these Daisies. She gave us a big bag of beet tops and three figs. I have never eaten fresh figs before. So delicious. March 31, 2015. March Photo Art 2. Hard to believe we are already at the end of March. Thought I better squeeze in one more photo art. I try to do 2-3 a month.
