There was an error in this gadget. Monday, February 9, 2009. We Are The Champions -Queen. Ron is a champion again. Six years in a row! He has gotten 1st place judges trophy. That means when everybody voted they though his looked the best amoung the counselors cars. We did not vote but next year we may have to. This year there was some prtty good lookin' competion. Ron is going to have to work harder next year to keep 1st place. He loves a challenge. My favorite. The LaSalle. Another one bites the dust.

There was an error in this gadget. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Pretty Flower in Your Backyard - Leadbelly. This summer we worked on making our backyard pretty and useable. The previous owners had let it go and it was quite a mess. Last year we built a wall in our side yard that matches the walls in our backyard. We (read Ron) also built a very nice garden shed. So all the garden tools can be kept in it and Ron can have the garage for all his cars and projects. This is the after. September 20, 2009.

There was an error in this gadget. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Do You Believe In Magic -The Lovin' Spoonful. We went to Disneyland last week. What fun that was! Ron counted we went on 33 rides and watched 6 movies/shows in two days. We got an extra bonus and were allowed to stay in California Adventure an extra hour after the park closed. Sunday, December 28, 2008. Since my hubbie has given me another whole year's worth the reasons to love him, I tried to fill a whole weekend with birthday favorites for him. We started on Friday with a so-good-you-can't-stop-eating-and-need-to-unzip-the-pants dinner at Famous Dave's. My Dave loves BBQ, so we indulged in a feast of ribs, chicken and shredded pork (and cole-slaw, corn bread, corn on the cob and beans). What a wonderful husband and daddy we have! Happy birthday, Babe! Christmas Odds and Ends.

Friday, January 30, 2009. Best Wildlife Day. Ever. Gray whales. Elk. Elephant Seals. Oysters. Birds. Deer. This is the list of amazing wildlife we spotted on our outing to Pt. Reyes Shoreline with Heather today. The day was beautiful with sunshine and blue skies and the ocean full of white waves. After a picnic lunch, we began our hiking at the lighthouse. All smiles on the 303 steps to and from the lighthouse. Ella helped get us up them by sounding an alert for every group of ten we'd just conquered.

We hiked through this for about an hour, astonished at the eerie shapes of weathered rocks on one side and the hungry ocean on the other. The destination for this hike was the Nakalele Blowhole.
