Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Camping Trip 3: Steamboat Lake. Our final camping adventure, due to the start of Brady and Wes's football season, happened last weekend. This time, we took the FOUR HOUR trek up to Steamboat Lake. It's absolutely beautiful, but I'm not so sure it's worth all four hours. Sunday, November 24, 2013. Grand Lake Weekend Getaway. We have been to the cabin before with our family, but this time it was an adults-only trip with our friends Jen, Chris, Nate, Trish, and Dana. Everyone else went up Thursday evening. I had to finish my week of school, so Wes and I took off on Friday afternoon. He tried basketball last year and liked it, but we thought this would be a good chance for him to try something different. In all our years of sports, our family has never had any wrestlers! Saturday, December 6, 2014. Towards the end of October, I hosted "Ghouls' Night." All of my lady friends were invited.the invited instructed them to wear a LBD (little black dress), and I would help them accessorize with a witch's hat once they arrived. Sunday, October 20, 2013. A Little Fall Fun! We had Friday off of school this past week, so we had a little extra time to enjoy some fall fun. On Saturday, the kids raked up all of the leaves from the neighbor's yard into garbage bags, then dumped them on the tramp. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Mr Lando is Three! Our "baby", Landon, turned three on December 21. When we asked him where he wanted to have his birthday party, he said McDonalds. I thought about it a little and decided that McDonalds was a great idea! Easy food, an indoor playland, and a special time to celebrate Landon Bruce. Monday, June 30, 2014. Which Actually Occurred In March). So, on March 15, you know, over three months ago, our oldest son turned 7. This year, this handsome stud requested a party at Chuck E. Cheese. So, we booked a party, invited friends and fam, and got busy partying. The birthday king. Funny how I already think he looks older now than he does in this picture.
