Thursday, December 3, 2009. Kids Are Too Funny! Now that he can climb out of the crib I was nervous that he would get stuck in the railings and get hurt. An awesome woman in the ward let us borrow a toddler bed. Korbin will start out in his bed but this is where he ends up. Ki came down tonight and said mom it is hard to sleep with Korbin in my bed. Saturday, March 30, 2013. The Run of a Lifetime. After 3 months of "training" (I really didn't train the way I should have), I ran the Dallas Rock and Roll half marathon! I will run it with you! Literally within minutes of our conversation, we were registered. I had only been running for about 2 months at that point. I have also had the most amazing support system. I am so blessed. I hear them say "Buddy and God both want you to be happy." My response to each of these is "I know. It's just hard! At least that is what comes out of my mouth. What my mind says? You don't have a clue! If God wanted me happy, my husband would still be here!

Friday, December 21, 2012. 911"My heart dropped and so I immediately called her.She gave me the news that our very very dear friend Victor had died in his sleep. Victor was only 19 years old. I literally fell to the ground. I just kept saying "no! I hung up and called my friend and our boss Anne and gave her the news. We sobbed on the phone together. I called Buddy. He was immediately heartbroken. Fast Forward 6 months. I wake up and my first thought is "why didn't Buddy kiss me before he left for work?
