Sunday, December 9, 2012. Getting in the Holiday Spirit! Here's a quick and easy DIY to get you in the holiday spirit! Other versions of this DIY project require that you purchase a styrofoam wreath and attach the ornaments to it. First of all, I hate styrofoam. HATE. Second, that sounded like to much work, so I decided on this smaller, less time consuming project. SHATTERPROOF Christmas ornaments (just take my word for it). A big red bow. Looks a little sloppy like mine? Via the Domestic Fashionista.

Friday, May 3, 2013. Easiest. DIY Project. Ever. Find random wooden thingy when hunting for pallets for another DIY. Print out photos (I ordered 8x10s from Walgreens) and affix them to the front of the wooden thingy. I haven't decided if I'm going to leave the wood as is or stain/paint it, so for now.I used tape, yo! Elapsed time: Like 10 minutes. Total Cost: $12 for prints from Walgreens. FREE if you already have the photos you want to use on hand. Doesn't get much better than that. Hyperbole and a Half.

Sunday, February 3, 2013. Oh, these past few weeks have been tough ones, y'all. Tough times tend to lead to lots of introspection (read: overanalyzing EVERYTHING) for me and I have come to at least one [sort of] realization. Perhaps my heart has not yet found its home, but of one thing I am sure. The mistakes of my past are as far from me as the East is from the West. I am humbled with gratitude, and cautiously optimistic for the future. Affirmation: I am, as ever, a work in progress, and that's okay.

blonde monologue: The greatest of these is LOVE.
http://www.blondemonologue.com/2014/05/the-greatest-of-these-is-love.html
Sunday, May 25, 2014. The greatest of these is LOVE. I am feeling a little preachy today, friends, so bear with me. I will try to make it short. Lately, I have become increasingly aware of people in my life, even close friends and loved ones, who seem to be hiding behind religion to justify their actions, and to support their personal (and usually intolerant) beliefs. it's. Or sell your daughter into slavery. And keep milk and meat. Of course the Bible isn't literal. Jesus says, 'I am the door'! If I spe...

Saturday, May 24, 2014. 30 before 30: Get a tattoo (sorry Dad). So, today I got a tattoo. During a tornado warning. While the sirens were going off. These clouds looked much creepier while the sirens were sounding. That white stuff would be HAIL, not Colorado snow. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.". Be strong and courageous. I love it. What do you think? Labels: 30 before 30. Holy social me...
