http://vantaggiokristi.blogspot.com/2011/08/local-xc-summer-2011.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. Local XC, Summer 2011. This weekend brought the Chattanooga Mud Run as well as the epic Fool's Gold 100 and 50 mile races in north Georgia. But don't be fooled, the real racing this weekend took place in Chattanooga, TN at Booker T's short track and cross country races. While the endurance types raced or recovered from the effort on Saturday's FG, the rest of us took on the loose, dry trails in Chattanooga. Kym and I working hard. Photo courtesy of Celeste Sneed. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. This is a short update, I should be studying for my chemistry exam that's tomorrow. I don't have any fun photos from any of my cyclocross races yet, but I've done three races so far this fall. Fun and painful! More cyclocross racing next weekend, hopefully I can do a real blog post! Catherine Peacock: April 2012
http://vantaggiocatherine.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. The biggest race of the year is Tsali for me and it is always the first. Usually, I am out of shape and not ready to race. Last year I broke my chain about 5 miles in and hiked out. Not this year. Instead I made the painful trek for thirty miles. I felt good for about the first 12, then it was a long race. We had an awesome weekend. I also won the time trial the day before. Kym had bad luck on the trail and got a flat, so she helped me finish strong in my race. Oh the things we see.

Kym won the race, and I got second! Star was right on my wheel the whole first lap and finished right behind me! Amy got forth, and she had raced the day before in GA, doing an endurance mountain bike race! Other news: I am back in school working on my master's! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Kristi Hawken Angevine: Cross season 2011
http://vantaggiokristi.blogspot.com/2012/03/cross-season-2011.html
Monday, March 12, 2012. Thanks to our sponsors, our clothing not only looks good, but feels good. Overall, the cross season was eye opening- the cat 1-2-3 women are one fast group of racers and 45 minutes is a whole lot of time to be pushing hard. I didn't break any records or sweep any series' podiums, but it was immensely fun and I really look forward to the 12/13 cross season. Photos from the cross season will be added soon! Kristi Hawken Angevine: February 2011
http://vantaggiokristi.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Snake Creek Gap 17, February 2011. High 30's, low 40s. Knicker bibs, knee socks, 260-icebreaker baselayer, short sleeved jersey, shoe and toe covers, windproof skull cap. A bit wet on the lower sections, but overall very nice for the 17. Of slow motion crashes. Minutes shaved off last year's time. Place in SS category for the Feb race. 8 (if I calculated correctly). Time spent walking over rocks. Cleat loosened on one shoe. Time spent fixing mishap. Best tunes on the ride.

US Stove-Trek presented by Vantaggio. Elite Womens Cycling Team. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. I have been riding and racing bikes for a long time. In that time I have developed some personal "rules" to live by in order to best promote cycling to the general public, set a good example for other cyclists, give my sponsors positive exposure, and ensure my safe return back home at the end of the day. Kym's Cycling Rules to Live by:. Remember we ALL ride bikes because we love bikes. 5 Don't quit. Quitting rac...

While she was doing that, Stephanie. Was out killing it at a little race in Arkansas, Syllamo's Revenge. I jest, it was 100 miles of rocks, roots, tech...
