Bird ringing in Arctic Norway. Thursday, 15 September 2016. Late on in the session a large Siberian Tit flock neared the ringing site, however of the c40 birds within that flock, only one was caught, a retrap from last years trip at the site. A Song Thrush was a new addition to the birds we have ringed this year, a smartly plumaged juvenile while Reed Bunting again made the bulk of the catch. Below are the totals from Nyrud today. In all 114 new birds were ringed, with the 'bird of the day' award being taken early on by a stunning juvenile merlin. Our second of the trip! Vadsø Offroad arrangers for 10 gang. Resultater Varanger Grand Prix 2015. Årets ritt hadde for første gang start og mål ved Hamisenteret. Med stor deltakelse fra Finland, samt flere russere, og som alltid mange ryttere fra Sirma IL ble det et flott arrangement. Før rittet ble det arrangert en barnearrangement med mange glade barn i hovedrollen. Klubben fikk testet sitt flotte telt, som bestod testen med glans :-).
