Audrey's Avenue: November 2010
http://audreysavenue.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
This whole experience has awakened the kind spirit in all of us family members. We are taking time out of our busy personal and work schedules round the clock to ensure my grandmother is never alone. We are taking the time to express our gratefulness for the hard work of others. Everyone has kindness in their minds and in their hearts and everyone wants to help in their own way. Today I feel so grateful to have an amazing family and despite the circumstances, I am grateful for this whole experience.

Audrey's Avenue: Suze Orman - "NOT A FAN CLUB"
http://audreysavenue.blogspot.com/2011/01/suze-orman-not-fan-club.html
Suze Orman - "NOT A FAN CLUB". Did anyone watch today’s Oprah episode? Today Suze Orman was the invited financial guest expert with. Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. “Octomom”. I’m not alone in thinking this was a horrible episode for the Oprah show, particularly in the final season when you are trying to go out on a high note. Today’s episode felt like something that should have been on a slimier talk show, not the Oprah Winfrey show. Posted by Audrey's Avenue. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The sky is blue.

Audrey's Avenue: Who Hates Christmas Shopping? I Do! I Do!
http://audreysavenue.blogspot.com/2010/12/who-hates-christmas-shopping-i-do-i-do.html
Who Hates Christmas Shopping? I’ve officially decided I really don’t enjoy Christmas shopping. Once upon a time when I had a lot more disposable income and cash flow, not to mention lots of time on my hands I would shop for presents as early as September. Due to circumstances, I now shop in the month of December. One could say that I could perhaps ‘make’ my presents, but in all reality with everyday life unfortunately at this time I have no time or energy to do so. Posted by Audrey's Avenue. Survivor Sea...

Audrey's Avenue: What's for Dinner?!
http://audreysavenue.blogspot.com/2010/12/whats-for-dinner.html
Feeling under the weather. I usually get hit with a horrible cold in Spring, Fall and Winter. The one I have now is manageable, but coupled with a sinus headache that is just lingering for days. I find myself at dinner time yet again dreading the usual question at this time of the day, ‘What should we eat for dinner? I have to admit, this responsibility lies alone with me in my household. When everyone else gets sick, I take care of them. When I’m sick, does anyone cook for me? Posted by Audrey's Avenue.

Top 10 Significant Moments of My 2010. Since 2010 is almost at a close, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to reflect on the top 10 significant moments of my 2010. Death of my Grandmothe. R - Death of the grandparent I grew up knowing most from infancy to adulthood taught me a lot about life, mortality, family and love. Lesson Learned: LIFE IS SHORT, MAKE THE MOST OF IT. Youngest child starting school. Eldest child starting grade 1. Family Christmas gift project. Regained some semblance of i...

Audrey's Avenue: The Black Keys
http://audreysavenue.blogspot.com/2011/01/black-keys.html
Are you into Blues Rock? Check out this amazing under-rated group, the Black Keys. You might have seen them recently on Saturday Night Live. Their tracks are featured in numerous movies and commercials as well. My favourite up and coming artist, Casey James, has also covered their “I Got Mine” on his summer tour with AI. All their albums are low priced and well worth the buy - all of them! Their most recent album was recognized as one of the recent best in Rolling Stone magazine. Posted by Audrey's Avenue.

Audrey's Avenue: Casey James Band !!
http://audreysavenue.blogspot.com/2010/12/casey-james-band.html
It’s been a long time coming! Through him, I’ve met an amazing bunch of ladies from all over the world who I still keep in touch with from the 2010 summer craziness over the Idol tour. Casey has since been busy working on his album and relocating to Nashville, TN as he signed with Sony Nashville (YAY Casey! Which is a perfect label for him to span his broad wings of rock and country roots. I’m happy to announce the launch of Casey’s official website www.caseyjamesbandofficial.com. Audrey's Avenue: The Nate Berkus Show
http://audreysavenue.blogspot.com/2011/01/nate-berkus-show.html
The Nate Berkus Show. Strange and confusing day. The hubby and I are both off work as the stat holiday landed on the weekend and today (Monday) is off in lieu of that. Luckily I spoke with some of my kids’ classmates parents yesterday who informed me school was in fact back on today from the holidays. In Toronto, it airs on CityTV at 10 am. Check here for more details: www.thenateshow.com. Posted by Audrey's Avenue. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Suze Orman - NOT A FAN CLUB. The Nate Berkus Show.
