Hodge Podge Ramblings: Hobbies
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/05/hobbies.html
Monday, May 21, 2012. It's been weighing on me to abandon my house, let the kids completely destroy it while I drown my self in my 'hobbies'. My list is never ending! I want to do everything at once. Actually I have such a list of them that it is honestly overwhelming. I never know which one to pick up and do. I am never in the mood to just do one of them. But of course each one could use some perfection. Anyway here is a list of what I have already started and what I still hope to do:. I wanna create my...

Hodge Podge Ramblings: Crock Pot Inspirations (Pinterest: Day 4)
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/06/crock-pot-inspirations-pinterest-day-4.html
Friday, June 1, 2012. Crock Pot Inspirations (Pinterest: Day 4). As part of my "New Pinterest A Day" I mentioned trying out this tasty looking mac and cheese. As well as this carmel made easy idea. When mine reached that consistency it was rather soupy still. But because I didn't do as the recipe stated I ended up with macaroni and cheese that looked like this:. As far as the Carmel goes I was quite impressed. A simple can of sweetened condensed milk cooked in the crock pot all day created this carmel.

God Nature. Passion. Family. Freedom. Fun! February 8, 2011. Oh, the simple days! Here is an example of our conversations now, from just this very morning:. Me: “Owen, take your bowl into the kitchen and put it in the sink.”. Owen: “Wait, I’m kicking an alien right now.”. Me: “Stop kicking the alien, and go put your bowl in the sink.”. Owen: “I can’t. The alien turned me into a zombie.”. Me: “Bowl in the sink or time out.”. Owen: Loud, exaggerated fake snoring. I want to take my bowl to the sink! He tend...

God Nature. Passion. Family. Freedom. Fun! January 20, 2011. First Rant of the New Year. I’m not saying I don’t have days when I’m frustrated and feel like a failure. I’m not saying there’s not times when I feel unappreciated. These things happen from time-to-time, and all of us have experienced those emotions at one point or another. Spending time with our kids. Once again, a blessing, not an entitlement. Their days are numbered. Take on the challenges with a joyful attitude. Wipe off that blurry le...

Monday, June 11, 2012. Home Schooling- My Vision. Train up a child in the way. He should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”. Deut 6:5-7 says “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to ...

The Magic of Christmas | Nelmark Remarks

God Nature. Passion. Family. Freedom. Fun! December 9, 2010. The Magic of Christmas. I was not very successful at this, but I learned valuable life lessons, like if you get caught, you parents will return all your presents. I never got caught again. ;). Has it become just a story that I know and believe intellectually, but no longer see and experience the way a child would? Am I even capable of looking at it with the same awe, wonder, and unfailing belief that a child would? Laquo; According to Plan.

Hodge Podge Ramblings: What If?
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/07/what-if.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. Wow these words hit me like a ton of bricks. What if your blessings come through raindrops. What if Your healing comes through tears. What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near. What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise. What if my greatest disappointments. Or the aching of this life. Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy. What if trials of this life. The rain, the storms, the hardest nights. Seriously, what if?

Hodge Podge Ramblings: We Are Glass
http://hodgepodgeramblings.blogspot.com/2012/07/we-are-glass.html
Thursday, July 12, 2012. Life is so fragile and I feel all to often we take it completely for granted. Not only can we be caught hurting our own lives but we are often caught up in the pain of others. Every individual should be handled like a delicate piece of glass. Remembering even the slightest harsh word could be the punch that shatters. We break fast, cause we are glass. With every individual who may come and go I try to keep this in mind ". Try not to judge, 'cause we've walked down different paths,.
