The Rantin' Arkansan: Friday Fictioneers: The Blight Cometh: Part Two
http://therantinarkansan.blogspot.com/2012/08/friday-fictioneers-blight-cometh-part.html
Friday, August 17, 2012. Friday Fictioneers: The Blight Cometh: Part Two. 169; Lura Helms 2012. The Blight Cometh: Part Two. Two weeks passed. Two horrifying. Weeks as the blight began to spread across the area. Bill and Steve began hearing reports from other parts of the state being overrun. It was relentless. Growing. Ever destroying. When they met the biologist, Rebekah, in the capital, she insisted on coming with them. That's when they made the harrowing discovery. Which is peculiar, don't you think?

Paintbrush, Pen and Keyboard: CASUALTY OF WAR
http://rochelle-wisoff.blogspot.com/2012/08/casualty-of-war.html
Paintbrush, Pen and Keyboard. Thursday, August 16, 2012. This week's Friday Fictioneers' photo prompt is from Lura Helms. It's always fun to read the different imaginings that emanate from one photo. Here's my 100 word offering. In the woods on the outskirts of town is the Tree of Life. Not to be confused with the original this one earned its name from a century of discarded oddities which have grown into its branches. When the final letter came my heart cratered to my stomach. Paintbrush, Pen and Keyboard: WILD LIFE
http://rochelle-wisoff.blogspot.com/2012/08/wild-life.html
Paintbrush, Pen and Keyboard. Friday, August 3, 2012. This week's Friday Fictioneers' photo prompt has been something of a challenge. While it might conjure up visions of creepy aliens. it's a picture of a cut grape vine. I neither wrote about grape vines nor aliens. Just under 100 words this week with 99. Half naked Himba people in Nambia, a sweaty camera crew and millions of TV viewers witnessed our marriage vows. 8220;I’m done,” he whispered later. “Let’s go home.”. 8220;You are my home.”. Paintbrush, Pen and Keyboard: SNARL
http://rochelle-wisoff.blogspot.com/2012/07/snarl.html
Paintbrush, Pen and Keyboard. Thursday, July 26, 2012. I'm multitasking this morning. Trying to cram down breakfast, put on makeup and post my story for Friday Fictioneers at the same time. Then it's off to work. 97 words this go around. 8220;Nice doggie,” whispered Jolie. Huddled against the fence she faced a mouthful of Pit Bull teeth. Which would be worse- the whipping she’d get for losing Grandma’s ring or to be eaten alive by a junkyard dog? But he snapped to his feet with a roaring bark and lunged.

WHAT'S SO FUNNY?: Bucket of Ideas
http://russellgayer.blogspot.com/2012/07/bucket-of-ideas.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. People often ask me, “Where did you get a crazy idea like that? 8221; I usually reply with some cock and bull explanation that I merely observe the world around me and the stories write themselves. Today, (against my own better judgment) I have decided to share my source of inspiration. Be forewarned that this act can only be performed by skilled professionals after years of training. WHAT'S SO FUNNY?: Mussel Shells
http://russellgayer.blogspot.com/2012/08/mussel-shells.html
Thursday, August 9, 2012. This week’s entry is an excerpt from my short story, “Lost at Peter Bottom,” which has been selected by Tales From the South. For their September 18. Show at Starving Artist Café in North Little Rock, AR. This may not have the level of humor you’re used to from me, but it fit well with the prompt and gave me a chance to toot my own horn at the same time. Photo by Susan Wenzel. Vignettes: Friday Fictioneers- Thus To Tyrants
http://paul-vignettes.blogspot.com/2012/08/friday-fictioneers-thus-to-tyrants.html
The writer writes in order to teach himself, to understand himself, to satisfy himself; the publishing of his ideas, though it brings gratification, is a curious anticlimax." Alfred Kazin. Friday, August 24, 2012. Friday Fictioneers- Thus To Tyrants. Every Friday authors from around the world gather at madison-woods. To share their 100-words and offer constructive criticism and encouragement to each other. This creates an opportunity for free reading of very fresh fiction! Photo by Maggie Duncan. I was a...
