I'm going to be working as a prosecutor for the misdemeanor side of crimes. I start July 13, and four years of college, 3 of law school, two months of studying for the bar and 36 hours of testing finally have paid off. A few other things. Scolson got married! I get more sleep, I have extra money to spend on things I like instead of just booze, and part of my routine is comfortably predictable. Part of being an Old and Married I suppose is getting full-time employment. I'm still in the technically part time category because I have yet to pass the bar, so I don't get benefits but do get to work almost as much as someone who does!

I don't let Swarley sleep in our room anymore because I'm a jerk, but oh how well do I sleep. Somehow, somewhere, on some sort of list sold to companies, our name is listed as "Schreibert". We keep getting mail, dentist solicitations, and "exciting coupons" for the Schreiberts. Those guys are missing out on savings. In other news, OMG. Saturday, September 05, 2009. Awesome to the Oose.

Actually, I was studying for, and taking, the bar exam, whose results I'll have in about 6 more weeks. Nothing like waiting!
